Chicken Coops
Our chicken coops are designed to not only look good but create a safe and comfortable environment for your chickens. Investing in a custom chicken coop with thoughtful features like nesting boxes, run-in areas, roosting bars and entry doors not only enhances the well-being of your flock but also makes your experience more enjoyable.
Chickens need to be able to move around freely and scratch the ground without worrying about potential predators. That’s why we use 19 gauge hardware on all of our chicken coops. This predator protection allows chickens to roam freely and feel secure in their environment.
At Yoder Homesteader, we offer two different styles of chicken coops: Raised and Walk-In. Raised coops are elevated above the ground and offer several advantages. They provide a natural barrier against predators, ensuring better safety for your chickens and cleaning becomes more manageable. Walk-In coops are spacious and provide easy access for collecting eggs. Both raised and walk-in coops offer unique benefits, and the choice between them ultimately depends on your specific needs and preferences.
